Most thermal packaging used in the Gulf is made somewhere else and shipped in — which means someone is paying to fly or freight empty boxes across the world before a single medicine ever goes inside. We took a different route: SafePack is manufactured in Dubai, for the climate it has to survive.

Why does local manufacturing change the economics?

Importing thermal containers means importing air. Empty boxes are bulky and light — the worst possible thing to pay freight and customs on. By producing SafePack in the UAE, that cost simply disappears: no transporting empty containers into the country, locally sourced materials, and the benefit of the UAE's favourable import and tax environment. Engineered for the climate it works in

A box designed for a temperate supply chain is not the same box you want in a +45 °C Gulf summer. Building locally means designing for local reality: PCM configurations and insulation chosen for extreme heat, validated in the conditions they will actually face — the kind of direct-sun field tests where a box holds its range past +60 °C surface heat. You cannot design that from a catalogue in a cooler country.
